INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL CENTER-FLINT
Meet the Pastor
Pastor Gillie Harris Jr. was born and raised in Flint, MI. In 1982, Gillie Harris Jr. received the precious gift of salvation after giving his heart to the Lord. After seven years of faithful stewardship, Gillie received a vision from the Lord that he was to be an evangelist. Although being a minister was not a part of his plan, he stood on faith and believed that God would guide him in all ways.
In January of 2001, God anointed and appointed Gillie Harris Jr. to become the shepherd of the International Gospel Center-Flint. Pastor Harris, a retired skills tradesman of General Motors for 32 years, has made it his mission to touch lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His sincere and straightforward delivery of the Word of God has positively impacted people of all ages.
Pastor Harris has been on several panels at Men’s conferences offering Bible-based solutions to daily life. Also, he has ministered the gospel to men and women incarcerated in Michigan prisons such as Camp Brighton and Parnell. Under his exemplary leadership, the International Gospel Center Flint has taken the gospel “outside of the walls” into the community through programs like, Soldier’s for Christ Community Outreach Program, which distributes food and clothing to those in need.
Now Pastor Harris and wife, Sis.Darlene, continue to follow the will of God for their lives and the International Gospel Center Flint Ministry. Their desire is to see all people grow in the things of God and to live out His will in their lives.
